What happens if you cook mold? And does it always stink?

I want to know what the mold will look like. Will it inflate like marshmallows do when you microwave them?

I don't want to know about the toxins being released into the air, the possibilities if I'm allergic, etc., and I'm NOT saying I'd eat the food--I just want to know what mold does when it is heated/cooked. Will it stay the same? Will the spores LOOK like they go away? Will they grow instantly?

And if a little mold was on food, like spaghetti, does it always stink? Just the tiniest little spore. I'm always scared to eat leftovers because they could have mold. Even my leftover pasta from yesterday, which, yes, has been in the fridge under 40C.
