What happens if the used car dealer i bought the car from reports it stolen,

& i no longer know where it is? Long story short...... I put $900 on a $1300 car in Oregon, a family emergency occurred three days later, i had to drive the car cross country to Philadelphia, couldn't find a job, couldn't borrow the money, unemployment is a joke when you're filing cross-country. Now i haven't made a payment, they have reported it stolen and i not sure, exactly where it is. Should i just tell them it was really stolen or should i make finding this car my only priority so i'm not incarcerated a few months before my 3 year old daughters birthday?
 
they have your name rigth if they do they can find you anywhere
might take a week might take 6months
maybe a year

but they can stil find you if they want too
