what happens if its a motorcycle frame being sold with louisiana certificate of

destruction.? subject attempting to sell motorcycle frame with louisiana certificate of destruction. can this frame be rebuilt into bike and titled for resale. and if so where?
 
NO S Can it or dont buy it That is for parts only just to prove you own them no title will be issued off that cert.

It will be classified as a 907.A, a 907 A is a bike that sustained enough damage that to repair the bike it would be greater than 60% of its book value. Not all is lost because with todays market you can have a brand new bike crash and slide it where 70% of the bodywork is damaged thus costing more than 60% book value, the bike may no other damage than the bodywork. The insurance companies go by OEM value. If you buy a 907 A you will have to do the repairs and show DMV that the bike is in safe condition then you will receive your 907 A title.
