The business name is under my name, my partner and the LLC, now if i walk away, i know that he can sue me but what happens if i have a house which i have over 100,000 in equity. Will the court let the landlord put a lien on my property. The property is under my name and my girlfriends name which we are not married. What if i file for bankurktcy, can you still put a lien on my property. I had many different answer, so say that the landlord can't put a lien on my house but some say that they can. The odd part about this is that my accountant said that they can't put a lien on my propert but my lawyer said that they can and my financial adviser said that they also can';t put a lien on my property, can someone please help me and give me the correct answer or at least share your stories with me, god bless the internet in my time of need.
