so back in June i was in school at an institution and i decided that i wanted to go to a community college so i applied for financial aide at the community college...i got a scholarship and was enrolled for the fall semester. the thing is i continued at the school i was already going to and forgot about that community college because the scholarship only covered a semester. so now February i get a notice that says i owe 700 dollars to the community college because they had to pay the money for the scholarship. the letter says its the second notice and i don't ever remember getting a first.. i don't have a job right anymore and if i was given a notice while i had a job i would have paid it..any suggestions on what to do? or what happens if i don't pay it?
