What Happens If I Do Not Mix The Petrol With The Oil In The Yamaha Banshee 2006?

since that its two stroke twin i need to mix oil and petrol for it to work so i was just wondering what would happen if i don't because once i put 0.5 litters and it just didn't feel right so what is the correct amount of oil i should put like lets say i have 23 litters of petrol how much oil i will need i usally put 1 litter oil in 23 Thankss Alot Guys
