Read it, and you'll find out. Wouldn't want to spoil the ending - you might never know what Great Aunt Ada Doom saw in the woodshed. (Although undoubtedly, it was something nasty). One of my favouritist books - love the asterisked paragraphs - a spoof on pastoral books of the time and has outlived the originals to become a classic in its own right. Of course the humour is slightly oblique - you either get it or you don't.
