What happened while I was gone...

Associates are good, but if you get a master's in some areas, you can teach at colleges. Even at community college, you're looking at 40k+ starting. (My grandpa taught at a comunity college and I think he was up to around 80/year by the time he retired. And yes, he actually retired.

Vader, I just wanted to say that I really respect the fact that you are stepping up and taking care of your girl and the baby on the way. Like others have already mentioned, you are lucky to have a supportive family. I have a really good friend (known her since middle school) and she is my age. She has 2 little girls and an awesome husband, and couldn't be happier.

I wish you the best of luck man. Keep everyone posted :)

Good luck,
God bless

A real man steps up to responsibility, you just keep it going, it might get tough but it will be worth it.

Although I can't really offer you advice that hasn't yet been offered, I got alot of respect for you bro. It's nice to see someone with the balls to stick around and give fatherhood a go. You hear of people disappearing as soon as they find out their girls pregnant all too much. Good luck man.

If you want to experience something tough at the ages 17-18. Go and have yourself a kid. This is so hard that i almost want to cut off my testicles and throw them off a cliff for what they have done. I'm having a hard time finding a decent paying job. its hard to come by something more then minimum wage at my age. Whats a poor 17 year old to do. Military was brought up by my dad, but I couldn't miss the first years of my child's life because those are the most important. Gives a person lots to think about.

Oh, and the ultra sound gave me a concrete answer, I am having a little girl.

What were you addicted to? I got addicted to pot for a month in December.

Still love it, still smoke it, but I pissed away far too much cash on that.

I had a hard time staying away from pot myself. Wasted a lot on it in the 4 months of summer last year.

Then i got into rolling, that really made me think about things when i was doing more then one drug. I caught myself before i got so addicted i couldn't control it. It also helped the second i heard that i was going to have a kid i stopped.
