What happened while I was gone...

Even though I wasn't really well known on this site when I was active on it, I felt the need to come back, and catch up a little.

When I had left this glorious site i was so wrapped up with my addiction problems that I don't even know why I stopped coming to the site. But thats beside the point. Right now I am the ripe age of 17. Going to be 18 in 3 months, Yay me. Around June or July of last year i was dating a girl(i still am by the way) for about 6 moths at the time. It was a pretty hot day, id say around 90. It about killed me if I wasn't inside or in front or a air conditioner. So me and her had this wonderful idea or watching a movie in the basement, just me and her, considering we were always with someone. We were down there relaxing watching Fear and Loathing In las Vegas(Great movie by the way, recommended) when the mood strikes. Like any other hormone filled teenager, got got a little frisky and did are thing. Well afterward we went up stairs to grabbed myself something to drink, considering I was the only one exhausted. I proceeded onto the living room chair when I thought to myself, did i pull out, or did I forget(silly me I forgot to wrap my willy). Well it turns out i find out about a month ago that she is pregnant, and that i have oooo, i don't know, less the 4 months to land a stable job, get an apartment, and take care of two people when i can barely take care of myself. I've applied for severals jobs in the past couple weeks, and i may, just may, have to go on welfare.

But in an exciting note, we here in Idaho have had a good year for snow. the slopes are so wonderful. :)

I appreciate that you fell concerned AIDSlol, but your help is not needed anymore. You seemed to have already lost at the whole idea of posting so sshh it and be gone.

It's not the end of the world. I've got a good friend who had to drop out of college to stay with his girlfriend and raise their baby, and he's doing fine. They struggle, but they manage.

Your family, are they supportive? Are hers? That makes a hell of a difference.

Out of the Question.

My mom had me when she was 17, and my dad was 23 i believe. They divorced, and my dad married a woman that also had a child at 17, so they are really supportive about the whole situation. Now, my girlfriends parents were kinda outraged and first, but who wouldn't be. We are both doing the best we can. We both have cars, I am getting my lisence soon. and i've applied for some jobs.

Dude, don't sweat it. At least you have a supportive family unit around you. My sister had her baby the month after she turned 17, and, although the dumbfuck who knocked her up is now out of the picture, everything is going fine for both Mommy and Baby. Baby is now 9 months old. My sister is still going to graduate high school and go to community college, but she could not have done it without a supportive family. If you two truly love each other, you'll do fine. Just don't fuck up. I say keep the bundle of joy, because a baby is just the cutest damn thing, and my niece, although I don't hold her because I'm halfway across the country, brightens my day when I call home or look through my camera.

Well, I guess: Congratulations!!

I can begin to imagine how hard it must be to be a parent so young, but you're lucky to have a family that is there for you and well I hope everything works out for the best.

If you guys love eachother and you guys stay together I'm sure you do great. Just make sure you are 100% supportivie and don't just dump all the responsibilities with the baby on your girl friend. I really hope it works out for you and just good luck.

That may be, but the situation i am in is very. how do i put this, fortunate. The apartments that we have been looking at are fairly decent priced. If we do go on welfare some of the rent and appliances will be paid for. Food stamps will be provided(thats if in fact we get accpeted) Both of our cars are paid off. My family live within ten miles, just in case there are in problems. Both of our parent will help fill the fridge and may help with gas(in my case i will be drive a 92 Geo metro, awesome gas millage).

I have been looking into moving companies around the area and there are a few openings. I also looked into getting training for telephone wire hanging and installing. In the area i am living, i have heard that its a big market to get into.

Now as of this morning i got a call from the University of Phoenix, and after i get my ged here in a few weeks i am eligible to go to there school. Just an associate degree. But its something to push me over the rest and get me noticed.

Hey man, congratulations! You will absolutely LOVE your son or daughter.

I am glad you are doing the responsible thing. Best of luck!

P.S.: I remember you! And I'm glad you're posting again.
