I don't think that's the case either. They do have up to episode 52 dubbed, at least, since that's where they stopped in Canada. They're most likely working on more episodes.
While I would prefer 4KiRAB putting 5D's back on the CW4KiRAB, I think that they'll first let Cartoon Network air brand new episodes since that's what they did with Chaotic. That does make sense, in a business way, since the sales for the card game for both Yu-Gi-Oh! and Chaotic increased quite a bit after they aired on Cartoon Network. They may put it back on their block after Cartoon Network gets ahead of them, but still label them as new episodes like they've done with Chaotic.
I personally would be kind of annoyed with that since it would take a few months for Cartoon Network to catch up, but it does make sense in a business standpoint. Like I said before, considering that the first fifty episodes are on their website, Cartoon Network does give the series plenty to repeat time and they still upload episodes on their On Demand channel, I don't think that the situation is too bad at the moment.
