What happened to the good old days when women enjoyed being actively pursued?

And as for that, where exactly is the fine line between respecting the lady's wishes and *not* actively pursuing her -- OR demonstrating that yes, your interest is far more than a superficial "hey there, you're hot" as opposed to "I really want to be with you, and will work to earn that privilege"?
 
Oh trust me, we still enjoy being pursued. By the right guy. We just have to keep up appearances and pretend we don't like it. :) If you don't know how to show a girl that it's more than superficial, then tell her exactly how you feel. In person, in a letter, just do it. See her without makeup, and don't treat her any different than usual. There's not just one big thing to do to make her see that's it's not superficial. It's a lot of little things added together.
