...Prodigy(80mpg)? ? These cars were developed in 2000. What is taking so long?
Doug W: We all get the idea of concept vehicles. The Prius was a concept car then Toyota said, "We know we can build this car so, enough talk and lets do it". If the "Big Three could produce these cars, they would have done it by now. It is just a dream just like the flying car!

Housing Mortgage problems money lenders holding onto there government bail outs Gasoline prices falling to all time lows Automakers on the verge of bankrupt. Keep up the good work Americans! Saudi Oil Trillion-airs need less money. Park your cars and ride to work on a bicycle see if that works. My ride is 11 miles each way it works. We need Atomic power plants to regenerate our electric cars and cheep Solar panels to recharge them. GM Toyota Honda Mazda Ford and Nissan cannot get enough Li -Ion battery's for those hybrids. Li-Ion is still not the best answer for American energy needs. Breakthroughs in Batteries are coming soon. Nissan Micra electric is due out soon. I want a 60 mile range electric car to supplement my Schwinn Continental electric Bicycle. Riding in the rain really brings me down.
