What happened to the E70? Discontinued?

I looked on eBay and fonegrabber and hi-mobile.net and cti-miami and I can only find 2 available E70s!

- Is it discontinued?

- If not, is it a phone worth getting? Do those of you that have owned one recommend it? I am an ex-E61 owner so I know and love the interface, but as far as construction, reception, and battery life goes, I am curious about the E70.

It is down between that, the P990i, and the N80 right now. I am still reluctant to leave the S60 world but I love the feature set and design of the P990 that I might just try it out...
 
i've had both, the reception for me was better on the E70-2. it is a solid phone worth getting if you want fast QWERTY keypad input.

battery life is good, world's better then the N80.

i have mine for sale because i want to get something with a better camera.
 
I don't particularly like the joystick on the E70 ... it's too sticky.

And the keyboard is too sidekick-ish and represents ghettoness too much
 
Haha wow that's picky. I personally agree and think it looks the least business-like and professional and looks like a text-machine rather than a business machine, but I'm willing to take that hit.
 
I love this phone its great, Im young and dont use it for buisness purposes so the sidekickishness appeals to me.

And to answer your question, Edge Wireless has picked up hte phone, thats why you cant buy the phone unlocked anymore on the the Nokia Site. SInce they stopped selling them unlocked to consumers, I assume they stopped sselling them unlocked to retailers aswell, that could be a reason.
