What happened to that Mighty Mouse movie?

Since that 80's mighty mouse got released onto DVD I thought I should ask this. Now back around in 2007{I think} cartoonbrew posted a few Images of an upcoming CG animated movie of Mighty mouse.

The only thing I remember about it is that Ralph Bakshi and John K got no hands on it. I used to dislike the idea of it happening, but if they get it right it would be a good CG film. So what happened to it?
 
What with every cheesy cartoon series of the 60's through the 80's getting ressurected for the big screen (Underdog, Alvin & The Chipmunks, G.I. Joe, ect.) and the current glut of superhero movies, a Mighty Mouse movie will happen sooner or later.
 
The thing that strikes me is that many of the properties that have these well-received live-action movies now actually had kind of mediocre animated movies back in the late '80s and early '90s (okay, maybe The Chipmunk Adventure wasn't that bad, but the others were often pretty dire). I hope it's not a trend. The idea that someone out there might be designing CGI Pound Puppies or Care Bears has me a little worried.

Anyway, a Mighty Mouse movie might be fun. I don't think I ever watched the original cartoon, though.
