I haven't used it two to three months and now when I turn it on the TV Guide button rarely works and when it does all I get is the purple border, the grey background and pieces of black screen and the mini-viewscreen hiding behind everything else. Is my TV Guide recoverable? Do I unplug it and just let it sit for a while and then plug it back in. Or is this a sign that the TV Guide function is toast?
I can still get into what I already recorded and I can still do basic recording but I can't schedule a recording because the TV guide is gone and that's why I got it in the first place. When I press Menu and the shift buttons, the background reacts and flickers like it used to when it was going through TV Guide choices but still only background and no print.
