Me and my buddy just installed my new dual stereo along with my new (used) 10 inch fosgates and my amp. Neither of us really know that much about it but we figured it couldnt be too hard. Everything seemed fine after we set it up, so we took it on a test drive. After a min the car filled with smoke and we opened the trunk and the right speaker melted!! The voice coil melted through the cone and just totally enihillated it! We dont know what happened and theres not really any proffesional audio places to take it to near by. The other speaker seemed to be fine so i kept using it. I used the speaker today and it started to smell like it was burning so i shut it off.
