I have a 10 gallon that had around, maybe 25 fish maybe (very little) a few more, anyways i had tropical fish in it (small ones), and 4 goldfish ( 2 were temporary), and now i only have like 10 plus my goldfish left! What happened to them? I brought in a water sample to 3 different Petsmarts and each place said my water was fine, including my water test kits. So what happened to my fish? I have a 15 gallon tank filter, and a ten gallon tank heater, so i cant figure out what happened to my fish. I had Mollies, Guppies, Platies, stuff like that, and i cleaned my tank 1 a week taking out 1 quarter, then the next week 2 quarters and so on, and then by the 4 week cleaning out the whole tank. So i just now would like to know what happened to my loved fish.

You loved your fish so you overcrowded them? You had WAY TOO MANY fish in that tank. You dont mix tropical and coldwater fish. And you dont put goldfish in anything less than 20 gallons per fish.

They probably died from ammonia poisoning. Or poor water quality in general. You really need to look into proper fish care, because there is no reason for this.
