ok i brought some natural plant for my 20 gallon fish tank because the plant was looking quite nice and i was looking some thing to decorate my tank so i brought the plant but my glodfish pluck out all the plant from the roots and all was floating on the top the next day i again fixed it back into the sand and again the next day all the plants were floating on the top so i decided to leave it like that but after 3 4 days all my fishes stopped eating and lay at the bottom of the tank and breating sloly than normal and then next day 2 of my fishes died and another day one fish died and after 2 days all the fiah died i had 7 fiahes they were about 2 years with me and now non of them are left i am feeling very sad but what could have killed them i treated them by putting 4 teaspon of rock salt and one yellow which i used to put to prevent lick and fungal infection but nothing happened did they died due to decaying of the leaves

natural plants are not a great thing to put into the tank you should use artificial plants or research plants that are not poisonous to the fish

What kind of plants did you buy? Aquatic? Not all plants can go into an aquarium.

Also, non aquatic plants will rot in your tank sending your water quality readings out the window here. The soil as well will contain high amounts of nitrites.

Goldfish in planted tanks, the plants really should be plants they will not eat, or if you are buying them for the reason for them to eat they need to remain in the pots and weighted so they cannot pull them out.
NO salt in a goldfish tank and you need to watch the salt with certain plants as well. Salt is NOT a mirical cure for anything. Salt also does not prevent ich and you should not be treating with anything unless your fish already have it.

More than likely they died from a combination of the plants rotting off and the poor water quality.

Im sure the plants were aquarium plants and not terrarium plants, because aquarium plants would have not killed your fish....
decaying plant wont harm live fish...it happens in nature too.

I'm stumped too about what happened to your fish of two years.
If the water quality was poor for the first day or so, you would have seen them at the top gasping..not laying on the bottom

What kind of plants were these?

I don't think it was the plants but rather something that was ON the plants when you put them in your aquarium. Sterilize the tank before putting new fish in there. I don't use live plants since they make the tank all yucky and you never know what is sticking to them when you bring them home.

Sounds like a couple of problems here and both sound like like poor water quality. High ammonia levels and low oxygen level in the water. Make sure, when adding any any plants to the aquarium, that they are aquatic plants not ones for terrariums or house plants.
