What happened to Fido? I thought they were such a good mobile provider years ago but now they seem to charge for everything. Is it because they're under Rogers now? Their reception is good but all the extra charges add up. They charge a $2 paper statement fee now which they never did before, when I went to get a phone for my mom with my fido dollars I was able to but they now charge a $25 hardware upgrade when you buy a new phone. Their data plans are kinda expensive (I've seen cheaper) and when your contract is up you have to give them 30 day notice or they'll charge you for the whole month. I mean is it just me or does it seem like they're just taking people's money now? I feel like it's a rip off now. What happened?
