what happen if you have albumin in your urine?

I think Benit is right here, I have high albumin levels in my blood and urine, but low creatinine and my urologist says my kidneys are fine, but he's still trying to figure out what's wrong. That's interestinig that you say severe dehydration Leela, because I always seem to be thirsty, dry mouth and dehydrated all the time, what is the correlation with this and high protein?
 
Here's what mine came to in my test 8 months ago:

..............in range.....out of range.....reference range
Albumin............5.0.....................3.6-5.1 g/dL
Globulin............2.3.....................2.1-3.7 g/dL (calc)
Albumin/Globulin ratio.......2.2 H...........1.0-2.1 (calc)

The doctor did not bring this up or tell me anything was wrong. I have had foamy urine off-and-on for a few years now.

Is an albumin level of 5.0 considered "microalbuminuria"?
