What Gundams have you seen?

Oh, I see how it is. I'm just small potatoes, hmm?

Speaking of my neglecting F91, I also haven't seen G Gundam since the TV run and I don't remeraber 0080 that well...I have some refreshing to do. There's so much that's new to see though it can be hard to work up the dedication to go back, though I know I should.

I find that I still enjoy classic Gundam, though. It's still a worthwhile story, and it helps put the more recent series into perspective. It can be very fascinating to see the same issues being brought up in different ways and expanded upon over time. And Char's Counterattack is still one hell of a movie.

Please, I am the one who sent in for the Gundam Offcial pin by sending in my Gunpla barcodes.

*Fist air pump, with accompanying grunt*

I've seen Gundam Wing(my favorite so far), a few episodes of G Gundam, a few episodes of the original Mobile Suit Gundam, a few episodes of Gundam SEED(like, 2 actually), and currently watching the US premiere of Gundam 00.

Bout time you showed up, i was wondering when you would come in from the cold.

I guess some of you are like "OH NOZZZ, NO 08TH MS TEAM, OR IGLOO, HOW DARE YOU" Look, i added in the major ones, which is why i listed other, for those two specificly and more.

With only 15 choices, i could only do so much. Sorry.

I bought F91 when it first came to the states on DVD, and im not sure how lucky people will be to still find a copy on shelves, because pretty much, anything not released by Bandai within the last year, its gone. And they didnt release Igloo on store shelves, which i was hoping they would eventually bring that to store shelves like last year when they announced it.

I was guessing that people were listing the series they "completely" seen, so im not sure if most of everyone here is just "i saw five min of Gundam 00, that sorta counts", or they really have seen the complete series so far. I didnt put anything for Seed/00 or X due to the fact that i havent completely seen the entire thing.

Ah, it really doesnt matter, i didnt state it clearly, so its really not that big a deal. I was just curious under my assumption...

To be honest, so much of Gundam is so incredibly similar that it's not hard to go through it all by just running it in the background while attending to other things (like reading forums!). Most series also also crammed with filler and dropped plot threaRAB, so only key episodes really reward close watching.

I actually find watching the OAVs a bit more challenging, since they tend to be more creative and demand much closer attention. They pay this off with excellent animation, so I don't much mind. I also find I tend to watch the original and CCA very closely, since there's a certain subtle quality to the two that a lot of the other series lack.

G Gundam is the only Gundam I've actually sat down and watched from beginning to end.

I've seen a couple of episodes of Gundam Seed Destiny here and there, and I'm trying to catch it from just Gundam Seed so I can get the gist of everything.

I've also seen the first 2 episodes of Gundam 00 on Sci-Fi. I couldn't get into this one so I stopped after episode 2.
The "holy war" storyline is being used entirely too much these days and I'm just at the point to where I can't watch anything else dealing with it.

What's spoilered is a silly reason.

The "holy war" is barely ever mentioned, is just a part of Setsuna's backstory and has no major connection to the plot at all.

The 'holy war' is indeed just Setsuna's backstory and I will never understand why Bandai America advertised the show under the premise that Celestial Being was formed to fight said 'holy war'

I've seen all the Gundam shows that appeared on Cartoon Network. But the only one I actually liked enough to purchase was 08th MS Team.
I loved 08th MS Team because it was the only Gundam show where the main characters were relatable adults instead of insane, whiny teenage boys using giant robots for lethal pissing contests.
