What gsm phone would get for under $350

Since I'm pretty happy with my MDA, probably something mundane, like a black RAZR, or a black L7 SLVR.

Maybe back to the old school...Nokia 8290 or 8890 (I always loved the lighting on the 8890...)

i second a KJam/Wizard/9100

i doubt anything can have more functionality, you can take pictures of peoples business cards and directly import all info to pocket outlook!!! what razr/regular cell phone can do that?

Since I see your are cingular blue, the 8125 is pretty good, or you can wait until oct to see what the 8525 would go for. I also like the 3125 which is more than half 350$ with two year contract. If you would like to keep att, I would just buy it no contract and pay for unlock code which would be just around 350$.

i think 8800E_IPOD is the best. it is a mobile phone, ipod player, touch screen and keyboard phone, small, stenless steal ALL IN ONE

If you're more into multimedia (and don't mind an unlocked phone) you can try to get a Toshiba 803T/TS803 (at least where I live I can get it for a little over $200) or a 904T (but that's around the $300-350 mark). Plus, unlike the iPod phone offered by the poster above me (if it's not there anymore, then please disregard this bit), it actually exists. I'm saying this as a person who likes not having an iPod (too expensive where I live, and there are rumors that some stores pack up the quality control failures to sell locally to cut costs- not sure if they're true or not, but I'm going for a MP3 phone anyway)

Under $350? k750 or w810 are great. if you can get a used n73 or k790a that cheap (?), they're great - i just recently got an n73 to review and i'm pretty amazed by it thus far. n80 is great if you don't mind the form factor (it reminds me of a brick). those are all very good high-end multimedia phones (good media player, good camera, etc).

e70 is utterly amazing, but the cam isn't as good. but for web, email/messaging, and connectivity it's fantastic. some people don't like the form factor -- it's also rather thick and the fold-out keyboard is a bit love it or hate it. but for a business phone with media features i thought it was amazing. it's a bit over 350 new.

i've always liked the samsung t809 if you don't need a super high end camera or WiFi. battery life is a bit suspect, but aside from that it's a great looking phone with a good media player and 1.3mp camera.

Well I would recommend either the Nokia e62 off of ebay for around 250.00 or the Samsung Blackjack for 350.00 no contract from a Cingular store.

You actually have to call around though for the Blackjack because some stores sell htem for 299.99, some sell them for 349.99, and some sell them for 449.99 and above.

I would get the blackjack because its slim, has all the media features, internet browsing, qwerty keyboard, camera and so on! Its a great phone!!!

I would get the E62 well because 1st of all its slim (not exactly "small" overall), the very realiable Sybian operating system, and the qwerty keyboard, and of course the cheap price.

Anyways out of the 2 i would defiently pick the Blackjack!! Go Blackjack!

If you are going to buy unlocked, the E61 is better thanks to the WiFi Functionality. If you are going to buy from Cingular and are going to get a good discount then the E62 is fine.

Just note that the Nokia scaled back the WiFi feature in the E62 for Cingular, presumably so it wouldn't cut into their data/airtime charges.
