What good is a credit card...

...If it only has a $500 credit limit.

Also, I *LOVE* getting denied six fucking times for a gay porn site (Japanboyz). Especially when the transaction is $6.95 and I have $417 worth of credit on the card.

Fuck CapitalOne. I can understand the $500 limit, I'm 19 years old, but I keep getting denials for trivial online purchases :gay:. Not just this one site.

Getting denied for a $24.95 T-Shirt/CD combo from KMFDM Store for the fucking lose.

These guys probobly think they'll make a mint off me. Too bad I'd sooner play with heroin than any kind of debt.

Just a random thought but perhaps they're denying the purchases because they are from obscure websites trying to go through on a new card?

Perhaps you should try buying stuff NOT online and build up a history before you get all bitchy about it. Most stolen cards are used to buy shit online from strange web sites. Think about it man. It's pretty obviously YOUR fault.

Honestly dude, why does everything have to have so much drama around you? I kind of want to change your Avatar to the Drama Queen.

First rule, you're 19. Buy a tank of gas with the damn thing once a month, then pay it off. At your age, building a positive credit history is the only thing you should be doing with a credit card. Save online porn for your married, 40+ years. Trust me, you'll need it then.

You don't use it to buy online porn... it's one of the best ways to get your information on "sketchy" sites and therefore, stolen.

Second, Capitol One is a joke. If it doesn't have a Visa, MasterCard, or Discovery logo, it's a bunk card, normally loaded with "extra" fees.

Get a real credit card through your bank, if you can. If not, then you probably shouldn't be getting a credit card anyway.

The Capitol One cards are Visa's. Capitol One is a rather large financial institution that issues, among other things, credit lines under the Visa or MasterCard names.

But everything else you said is spot on 100% grade A perfect.

Saddly he won't listen to people that have been there and done that. He knows better than us.

The Google sort order does not determine sketchy. Sketchy is determined by how well known a site is.

Again, don't use your credit card for online purchases. Keep it in physical store fronts to build a history with your credit issuer. Capitol One is just making sure you're not being scammed.

The only reference you make to using your card in your original post is to porn sites... forgive me, but you failed to mention responsibility.

Also, the only reference I have to Capitol One is our Sears account at my workplace. Ever since Capitol One started doing their billing, my Sears account can't get fixed. They're idiots when it comes to large, business accounts.
