...it overall? A boy meets a girl, they fall in love. The boy hurts her, and as a result, she leaves and goes as far away from him as possible to forget about the pain he caused. The boy realizes she's everything he's ever wanted and decides to chase her, risking his life to get to her. She watches him dying on the road and throws herself out of the vehicle to save him. Soon after that, she finds out she feels the same way too. They kiss blah blah blah

The end.

I wished it would be that easy, that one reckless thing would say it all, showing I cared about her more than the guy she had chosen to engage with. I'd thought maybe I was too naive and these kinds of scenes didn't work in reality as well as they did on the screen. Well, this would be just another reason to sue the director of the film we'd used to watch together every Saturday. She had been single at the time, that's why I'd always put romantic films in the DVD to make an intimate atmosphere, so that initiating a kiss at the end wouldn't be as weird as it would have been if we had watched an action or comedy movie. The funny thing was that she'd known I had been planning the whole thing, and still hadn't looked any bothered by that. There was no doubt when it came to whether or not she had feelings for me. I knew she did, she always had. I was not going to let her fool me into thinking she had done that with her friends too. Friends don't act like that!

It hadn't been that hard for Phil; the guy she thought was her "one". Oh, 'c'mon, I couldn’t wait to see the expression on her face when she found out it was all about her body. Sometimes I'd wondered why she was with him. What was so special about a guy that worked as a waiter, made merely a thousand dollars a month, and looked just like any average guy with a mustache that could maybe be useful as a broom. I had to admit, her taste was as even worse than mine, but if growing some hair on the face was all what it took to get her, I would grow a beard too!

"Whoa, dude, have you turned into a zombie or what?" Dennis asked, trying to be funny as usual. Even though he was my best friend, I still couldn't understand what on earth was so hard for him to respect the idea of your friend being in love with a girl he'd spent all the last summer with.

"Hey, guys, Dennis has just told us a joke! Let's give him a big hand so that the little baby won't cry, was that a joke right?" I said sarcastically, grinning as I flickered at his face to see his reaction.
