what gauge wire for 800w pioneer?

8 would do good but for max do 0/1 Guage. the bigger the guage the more efficient your system will be.
 
I estimate that's probably about 3.5 amp rms max into each speaker for each of four output channels. 14 ga ought to be just fine, especially if you keep it under ten feet per leg. 12 would be better, especially for preserving peaks and surges.

When you have a good quality, high power amp, buy the lowest gauge wire that you can afford, after all, you only have to spend once on it.
 
In a car??? 20 gauge. You want to burn out the wiring as soon as possible so that the other cars around you can hear their own systems. If you are setting this up at an outdoor event, then 8 gauge would be sufficient although you could overspec at 6.
