What Freedoms Do Muslim Women Enjoy In Western Civilization vs. the Old Country?

PLEASE DON'T REPORT ME- THIS IS FOR A UNIVERSITY THESIS!!! Thank you for reading thus far. I am writing a paper about the freedoms that Muslim women enjoy in western civilization compared to the old country. Please help me with this; it is due Sunday 2am EST. Thank you in advance and once again, please don't report me. I posted this once before, got in big trouble and got kicked off of yahoo answers and had to credit a new yahoo ID. It was very inconvient and I was only looking for help for my thesis. Oh, and please cite your sources. Thank you. <><
 
how about you write in your thesis that not all muslims are middle-eastern or oppressed? you know there are white, latino, black, asian, indian muslims in all countries ? just like christians.
i'm muslim and i'm east african. i was born and raised in canada. my mom was born in ethiopia and she was never oppressed or forced into anything. she dressed how she wanted, acted how she wanted. she wore skirts "in the old country" didn't cover her hair "in the old country" and what do you mean "the old country" ?? stop assuming muslim = immigrant from the middle east.

Being able to go out in public without an escort, in some countries they don't let their women drive cars...why would someone report you for a question like this, it's not offensive.
