What frame size should I get for my new bike?

I want to order a nice bike from online. It has good reviews and everything. I am 5 foot 6, and the sizes they offer closest to me is 50cm, 53cm and 55 cm frame size. I could be safe and go 50cm, but I think any 5 foot 6 could fit on 53cm, and even 55 cm if I am even more ballzy. What do you guys think?
