i want sonthing really really cool looking its freshwatwewr i got a rainbow a clown loach a glow fish and an oscar what should i put in o yea a dwarf frog

Get all the fish out immediatly! The oscar is extremely aggressive and will eat all of the other ones! What size tank do you have? Have you cycled it? remove/return the oscar as he will require carniverous food. they need atleast a 60 gallon tank because they get huge!

You need to find a chart or look on the internet and find out what fish go together. You can't just throw a bunch of fish together that you think are cool. You also have to consider the size of your tank. I think the rule is something like 4 square inches of surface on the top of the water for every inch of fish. This is just a good rule for people who are just starting out. There are things you can do to increase the amount of fish you can have, but this insures that at first when you are starting out that the fish will do alright. It figures the oxygen exchange ratio and how much an inch of fish should need. I would say that you probably haven't had an aquarium before, because I don't think those fish you listed would do well together. Your biggest problem is going to be the oscar. They sell them small, but the get really big and are aggressive. You'll need something around the same size that will at least stick up for itself. I like dwarf frogs, but they are hard to take care of. You have to find a food that will get to them and they are actually predators. If you ever have baby fish they will eat them. Also, they hide most of the day and you don't get to see them very much. The loach will probably do fine, though they also get bigger than you really want and I just don't personally like them. I can't tell you anything about the rainbow or the glow fish as I've never had them, but from the size I've seen in the pet store, I think the oscar will take them out. If you want multiple bright fish then I would suggest that you get guppies. I think they are a pretty fish and come in a variety of colors. You can also practice breeding with them. As long as they are happy then they'll easily breed. I like to pick ones that have color patterns that are similar that I like or nice fin shapes. I'll let them breed and when the babies are old enough that I'll know what they look like as adults I'll separate the ones I like and give the rest to the pet store. They don't mind as long as the fish are healthy. They profit off of them, but they won't pay you, because they have contracts with fish breeders. If you continue down this path, you can create a unique fish or at least one you really like and get it to the point where it breeds it's features consistantly. It's fun, but it's sort of hit or miss. The problem that you run into is you don't want to inbreed too much. It's okay a little. It's called line breeding and many animal breeders do it a little, but you start getting mutations and deformaties if you do it too much. You really just want to do it when you want to really enforce a characteristic. I usually, just keep the best specimens and comb pet stores till I can find something similar to what I have to refresh the gene pool. As far as other fish to put with them. They do well with other fish like them. I like mollies, though platys look like small mollies and sword tails so won't take up as much room. Those fish with the ballon like bellies do well with them also. These are all colorful neat looking fish that are easy to take care of and breed.

i kinda hate to say it but the oscar is a very aggressive fish, u kinda have fish that are not made to be in the same tank. oscars are aggressive, clown loach's are a peaceful large fish, glow fish also peaceful, and a rainbow fish is peacull to. its mainly the oscar, ok? u may want to tell how big your tank is cause it determines how many fish u can have. a fish i like are groumies, very common and low cost.

It seems as though your tank is really screwed up as it is, so much so that I think this is a gag question. What size tank?

Hey, if you want a really neat fish to have and watch, get a polypterus. They eat a lot and have over 15 different sub species that you can choose from. They also move like a reptile while approaching their prey. GOOD LUCK
