What fish would be compatible?

Right now I have a ten gallon tank with a bloodfin tetra, a dwarf gourami, and one tiger barb (there were three but two of them died). I am eventually planning on getting a bigger tank, but this is all my parents would allow for now. I don't want any schooling fish because I don't have room in my tank. What kinds of fish would work?
 
You want rid of the single Tiger Barb, it will nip the tendrils of the Dwarf Gourami. Barbs need to be in a shoal as do Tetra. Not a lot you can do while the Tiger is in there on its own as it will be aggressive.

Best suggestion while you have this problem is three dwarf Cory.

You have to remember that fish need 1 gal of water per inch of the adult size, some of them need 2 gal

Besides that you can find a pertty good compatibility chart at www.petco.com at "Fish" and then "Live fish & rock", just open any fish file and you'll find this chart
