What fish will a male Betta live with peacefully?

I know Betta's can't live with other Betta's, gouramis, paradise fish, or male guppies.Is there any type of fish so that they could peacefully without killing each other. I want to have two fish but I want them both to live! Help =]
 
Any community fish will do, except those you mentioned. I had a male betta together with cories, ghost shrimp, bamboo shrimp, tetras, and swordtails. Just make sure your tank is large enough for everyone to have their own territory.
