What fish to get? ?

I'm hoping to get some new fish, but I'm not sure what fish I should get. I'm thinking about neon dwarf rainbow fish , but I'm not sure if they would be ok for my tank.
currently I have a 28 gal. tank, with two pearl gouriamis, four zebra danios, three yo-yo loaches, one black kuhli loach, and a gold apple snail.
I would really like to know if the rainbow fish would work, but I would really like to know if there are any other fish that might work better.

Rainbow fish are either schoolers, or do better in groups. Im not sure which. I always see large groups of them when they are in home tanks. Get a few more danios. And thats about it.
 
I don't know about the rainbow, but mollies seem to work fine and live happily in any tank. DON'T get a chinese algae eater.
