i have a 10 gallon tank and want to know what fish i should get

1) I know fish reproduce a lot but what fishes don't mass reproduce like guppies.
I currently have guppies right now. i don't mind having some babies but that female just keeps popping them out and i have no where to put them.

2) what kind of fish don't eat their babies. I hear lots of fish like zebra danios and neon tetras eat there egg and fry.

3)what are good community fish. i want to have two different fishes in the tank that wont kill or be too aggressive with each other.
Im looking for fish that don't grow large than 2". i have a 10 gallon tank and i don't think thats big enough for more than 4-5 fishes of that size.

You could get a bunch of just male guppies. That's what i did and they are perfectly fine. Or you could get a few dwarf gouramis. Some rainbow species stay around 3 inches. A lot of tetra species stay smaller. You can always go to the pet store and ask what type of fish they get that stay around 2-3 inches. I hate knowing what kind of fish i want and then find out that my pet store doesn't get that kind. So talking with your pet store would be your best bet, that way you know what kind of fish they get in or can order in for you.

check out the site tinytanks.net. They give some good suggestions on fish that do well in tanks under 20 gallons.
