what fish could i have in a 20 gallon?

i have a spare 20 gallon fish tank with filters, heaters etc. i want a single fish in there that is tropical, i thought a baby oscar but then in the future i would have to buy it a 100 gallon tank. so no to oscars, maybe some cichlids or a single fish that is tropical
 
Glofish, Flame Dwarf Gourami, Silver Hatchets, Marisa Snails,Silver Dollar, Chinese Aglae Eater.
