What films make you cry?

Field of Dreams - Always gets me when Ray plays ball with his dad.

Finding Neverland - When Peter and J.M Barrie are talking on the bench at the end.

Pay it forward - Such a Brilliant film, I couldn't believe the ending.......I had a soaking wet face by the end of that film

Forrest Gump - I think nearly everyone cries at the end of that.

The Green Mile - If you don't cry at the end of this surley there's summat wrong with you.

There are load more films that have dried up my eye sockets, but I'll mention one more.

Man On Fire - I never expected to cry at the end of this fim.......such an upsetting ending.

My little lad chose our DVD to watch last night and put on My girl.
I am not sure exactly why but without fail during the last half hour of the film im always in tears :o
I just can't help it. Even when I tell myself to stop being stupid and assure myself im not going to blub I still do. :o

What films are guarenteed to make you cry?

(I was going to write what films are guarenteed to make you reach for the kleenex but thought better of it :o :D)

Not a film, but a sitcom. 8 Simple Rules covering the period where Paul dies, brings me to tears every time. Even thinking about it wells me up.

I'm not exactly a "crier" either.

The whole thing's a pretty realistic depiction of the aftermath of a loved-one's death. It brings back many memories of my own father's death.

The Green Mile got me too, I actually had to leave the room I was sobbing so much, can't watch it again.

Murder in the first was another one, and Philadelphia.

In recent years Babel made me cry, as did Amorres Perros and Walk The Line; as a kid obviously it was Bambi and Watership Down - far too sad for children in my opinion!

Color Purple - Always makes me cry and the acting is fantastic esp from Oprah and Whoopi, and Danny Glover.

Philadelphia - Especially the scene when Tom Hanks is talking to Denzel Washington.

The Green Mile - Several scenes in here make me cry.

Beaches - The ending pretty much does it to me everytime! Even watching the video for Wind Between My Wings sets me off!

Jason's Lyric - The ending shoot out :-(

Lord of the Flies - When they kill Piggy!

Ghost - Which is a bit sad of me but I still shed a tear...

I'm a very emotional person and cry at a lot of movies.

The song "unchained melody" came on the radio yesterday and put me in mind of Ghost and I thought to myself I can't watch that film because I cry!!

I tend to avoid movies after watching them once if they make me cry. They make me think too much, about real life, how I'd react in similar situations. I soak everything in and think way too much. I hate that reaction in me. I'm like a sponge.

I don't understand people that say, "Oh I watch such and such when i want a good cry" I mean, why?

And I know I'll probably get slated for this one, but the last one I watched that made me cry was Titanic. That's always had that affect on me and I know I'm definitely not the only one. It was the old ladies recap of everything and what she does at the end that sets me off. and for the reason I absolutely refuse to watch it again. I only watch it recently to be fair to another person that has sat through a lot of my kinRAB of movies (horrors and thrillers)

Do you feel drained after watching Babel? My word what a film, it just attacks your senses and never lets go.

Mine are Imitation of Life (an old film with Lana Turner in), very sad film. The Colour Purple, that's always good for a sob or two as well.

A while ago took the kiRAB to see Bridge to Terrabithia - I was weeping like a fool at the end.

Oh.......and Bambi.
