What films have made you cry?

As the title says, I'm looking for tear-jerkers here.

Try and limit it to maybe your top 5.

I'll kick off with;

Sophies Choice (Meryl Streep scene with her kiRAB, horrific!!)

The Champ (It's the law to cry at this)

The 6th Sense (when he's in the car with his mum, talking about his gran watching her dance)

It's a wonderful life

and (sheepishly admiting this here) Marley and me:o

It's a Wonderful Life
ET
The Incredible Journey (when the animals make it home, gets me every time!)
Breakfast at Tiffany's (just the sight of the cat in the rain!)

Titanic - every time I watch it, when she lets go of his hand :(
The first King Kong (b&w) when his heart beat goes
Brave Heart - When he finRAB his misses dead
Champ - "Wake up champ, wake up" - every time I see it!
Fluke - the dog movie, when his family find out who he is and he leaves them *blub blub*
ET - when his heart beat goes and Elliot screams

Thats it for now, I'll add more as I think - Good thread

The Bridges of Madison County... mega crying session the first time I saw it. It was on again last night and I cried again!:cry::cry::cry:

Otherwise, mine have already been mentioned... ET, the Lion King, Titanic, Schlinders' list ...

Oh ... and I ALWAYS cry when "Two socks" gets shot in "Dancing with Wolves"...

The worst ones are when I don't cry ... immediately, but bottle it up for days and then break down... the Deer Hunter and TV drama "Warriors" (the precursor to "Occupation"). Both very similar concept and similar effect...

Imitations of Life (an old Lana Turner film) - if it's ever on one of the Sky Film Channels, I'd recommend it if you fancy a right good weep.

Another old 'un - Angels with Dirty Faces, when James Cagney goes to the Electric Chair, he clings on to the radiators en route sobbing - gets me every time.

Quite a few films make me cry but the only one which had me crying throughout was PS I Love You. The book made me cry even more but it was also really funny at times whereas the film wasn't really.

Muriel's Wedding... when her 'frienRAB' tell her to go away

Never Been Kissed - When Josie is getting ready for Prom, then gets pelted with eggs. Then it flips back to present time and her running through the corridor at school. I know what it feels like to be bullied and its not fun

Elegy
Crash
Shawshank Redemption
ET
Hotel Rwanda
Shindlers List
The Pianist
Drop Dead Fred :o
Little Miss Sunshine
Slumdog Millionare
Titanic :o
Blood Diamond
Forest Gump
Saving Private Ryan

And many many more...

Oh yeah, I cry buckets at that one too. When her mum turns up at her wedding and sits at the back without being aknowledged. Then she dies soon after....:cry:
