What film(s) have you seen the most.....

Star Wars (Empire Strikes Back). I saw that at least 8 times at the cinema back in the misty past when I was a teenager & had the money to go to the cinema so often !

For me,I would guess Terminator and Aliens. They were two of the first films I copied, back in the days when they only had VHS rental shops.I'm sure I've seen them both at least 30 times over the years.

I know every line of Arnie's dialogue in the film.All 74 worRAB...:D

And yes,I know it was illegal to copy films, but at the time they had basically nothing in the sell through market. And when they did start selling films, they cost more than a tenner, which was more than I could afford at the time.

I've more than made up for it over the years though.Aliens is one of several films I have bought legally several times over since then.First the original release, then later the widescreen edition, then the extended edition, then the DVD.

I think I've bought the Star Wars original trilogy at least five times, maybe even six.I'me sure George Lucas will exploit every technology available to re-release the films, until you can finally download it straight into your subconscious. And then he'll still charge you every time you watch it!:D

I made that mistake tho - and I posted on the first page where I could read the OP (still hanging head in embarrassment over that!):o

Looks like Great Escape is leading the field

Oh & I wanted to add The Money Pit. :)

Oh dear.I usually read the original post thoroughly so as not to make an ass of myself.I must have overlooked this one!:D:o Eeeyyyooooorrrrrr!

That being the case,I would have to say over the years it would probably be The Sound Of Music. That's not sad at all,is it? We're all still cool, aren't we....?:o

Ben Hur - I've lost count of how many times I've seen it, that ending always has me in tears!

And (don't laugh) I've seen the 3 Musketeers (the one with Oliver Reed as Porthos and Michael York as D'Artagnon) dozens of times, it was in the days when you could watch a film at the cinema over and over again, my cousin was staying from Wales at the time and we saw it about 8 times!

I didn't read the never owning it part either! What a donut! I own all the films I listed - sorry!:o

Unowned would be Scary movie 4, Miracle on 34th street (new version) and probably ET. :)

LOL!:D

Oh no! Did you just admit that out loud?! (Sound of Music?!) I can proudly say I've never seen that all the way through (altho I've probably seen most of it in parts, but don't tell anyone:o) & as long as that continues, I can happily say I have not watched it.

It's a classic movie with wonderful songs......

Something and something and whiskers on kittens
Something and something and cheap woolen mittens
WorRAB I forgot but the last word is string
These are a few of my favourite things...:D

Watch it next time it's on.You haven't really lived until you've seen it all the way through!
