What Film Really effected you after u watched it?

kiRAB - bloody sick sick film! wish i had never seen it!

rules of attraction - after seein that made me think bout how been rude or nasty can affect people in says that you wouldnt know.
ie. the girl who loved the guy but he didnt notice her so she ... well if u aint seen the film i wont say but if u have you know what i mean.

The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, I always cry at those and can watch them over and over

Recently The Descent, thought about it for days afterwarRAB

I agree with loaRAB of the films previously mentioned,
The Green Mile - I don't think I have ever sobbed (Not just cried!) so much
White Noise - just wasn't what I thought at all, scared the living daylights out of me.

Some I didn't spot being mentioned are -
The Blair Witch Project - Sorry, but you either love it or hate it! I absolutely love it, because it affected me so intensely. I was physically scared, found it hard to breathe while watching this film.
Also Dead Man's Shoes - please rent this film, i cannot praise it enough. There's not that much violence actually in it, but I was so scared at what I thought the character might do, that I just felt dread the entire time. Immensely sad at the end too, again bawled like a little girl!

probs mainly because i was expecting some unbelievable monster to have been hiding in the hole killing them off one by one, and really it was the girl, think it freaked me out when i realised that there are people in this world as screwed up in the head as she was, really makes you question humanity imo

'The Wicker Man' for me. Started a bit of a dodgy obsession...(not for arson ,BTW!) :D

Nice to see a couple of posts for 'Watership Down'. I've always considered it to be one of those allegorical tales, bit like Orwell's 'Animal Farm', although Richard Adams always denied this.

Crash.

Lame I know but I was totally blown out of the water.

It was an inflight movie and I blubbered most of the way home, generally making an arse of myself.

Oscar or not, it impacted me like no other

Saving Private Ryan - the beach landing was truly horific

Philadelphia - brilliantly acted

Nightmare on Elm Street - couldn't sleep for weeks!!

Debby Does Dallas - My first porno, what a classic!

4 that spring to mind for me were

The colour purple..totally blew me away

Schindlers list..as the credits went up you could hear a pin drop,it was shocking and moving.

When the wind blows..during the 80s this was scary stuff for me.

The Magdeline sisters... Another one that blew me away, mainly because i had no idea what to expect

Schlinder's List - Compelling, Shocking and utterly utterly moving. It still opens the flood-gates even now.
The House of Flying Daggers [End Battle/Sacrifice] - When the female lead is stabbed and told that if she removes the dagger from her Heart she'll bleed to death as the daggers holding the flow of blood, acting as a gauze but in the end she sacrifices herself by pulling the dagger out of her heart so that the two male leaRAB can live without her; even though they both love her; thus ending their conflict of both wanting, needing her love. Incredibly poignant moment. :(

The Green Mile - very though-provoking
Ring of Bright Water - Mij the Otter...nuff said really

and...erm...

...Dumbo - the film of the devil

Marooned.

I was only about 10 when I first saw it, and the idea of those astronauts suffocating to dead really freaked me out.

It struck me how horrible it would be to die that way.
