What Film Really effected you after u watched it?

Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the orginial), Wolf Creek, Saw, Final Destination and Battle Royale - These films all left me feeling a little uncomfortable, for varying reasons; the concept, the twisted mind games, the gruesome horror.

Brokeback Mountain - This film made me weep beyond belief, and I was still thinking about the story many days after I had seen it.

Got to be Seven. Great film with a very hard hitting ending.

Also, Fight Club when I realised Ed Norton was Tyler Durden.

David Fincher, you are a legend.

'One flew over the cuckoos nest'. Jack Nicolson.
Very powerfull film. Made me look on mental illness in a whole new light, and with much more understanding.

Hotel Rwanda - chills down my spine watching it as it's a true story and so horrific.

Pay it forward, totally agree with that one, you don't expect the ending and it's such a lovely film

and the one film I just couldn't get out of my head for days after seeing it was the skelton key, putting bits and pieces together afterwarRAB as whilst watching it I didn't enjoy it that much, it was only when I thought about it I realised how clever it was :)

Has to be White Noise for me. The fact that you can hear and see messages contained in the static on a TV was alarming and quite believable somehow.

Life is Beautiful (wept like a baby)
Platoon (saw it as a teen; a real eye-opener)
House of Sand and Fog (made Hubby and I damn-near suicidal!)
The Cook, the Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover. (scarred me for life!)
Nil by Mouth (see above)
Oldboy (definitely a WTF movie)
Cinema Paradiso (again, wept like a baby, but this time, in a good way)

Really? ooh in what way, because I found that pretty tame.

Also Pearl Harbour for me, yes I know everyone slates it but I love it and it really made me think.

Road to Perdition

Well acted film, great ending did not see that ending happening after getting away from Jude Laws charater at the road side cafe.

Many films already mentioned here have made me stop and think after the credits, especially ones like Requiem for a Dream, Irreversible, Schindlers List, Deer Hunter, Private Ryan, Passion of the Christ. I'd also add Battle Royale.

The film that has had a lasting effect on me was Nightmare on Elm Street - I still can't sleep on my back in bed without thinking the bed will swallow me up :o
