The three most watched ones have to be Grease, Children of A Lesser God and The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
Also watched well over 50+ times are Lethal Weapon1+2. Dirty Dancing, Jesus de Montreal, Leon, Wilde, Gone With The Wind, Its A Wonderful Life, Casablanca, Grapes Of Wrath....in fact I'm giving up, because I watch far too many films:o
Moulin Rouge and X-Men are also very near the 50+ mark!!!

There are many films that I watch over and over. My personal faves are....

Happy Gilmore & The Wedding Sinder - I pity those who look down on Sandler's comedy bacause it does exactly whtat is says on the tin.

Beverly Hills Cop - The first and the best when Eddie used to be so funny.

Being a HUGE Kevin Smith fan I pretty much have all Viewaskew DVD's on a loop but these three get more plays than any other film.

- Clerks because the film's dialogue is still as sharp 10 years on and is as funny as the first time I saw it.
- Mallrats mostly due to the DVD commentary as it is comedy gold.
- Finally Chasing Amy mostly due to Jason Lee's performance as the serverly un PC Banky EdwarRAB.

The Matrix - All sci-fi action fans must have had this on at least 20 times. With each time I re-watch this I wonder how they f**ked up the sequals so badly.

Star Wars: A New Hope, Strikes Back & Jedi - All sci-fi fans must have watched these over 50 times and with the imminent DVD releases I expect this amount to double. As per The Matrix I wonder how they f**cked up the sequals so badly.

The Big Lebowski - The Dude Abides

Swingers - Vegas Baby!!

Rushmore - I saved Latin what did you do??!!

Tarantino - Reservoir Dogs (Are you gonna bark all day, little doggy, or are you gonna bite)
- Pulp Fiction (Oh sorry did I break your concentration)
- Jackie Brown (AK-47 when you gotta kill every muthaf*cker in the room accept no substitutes)

Plus Classic Action Flicks - Die Hard, The Rock, Con Air, Aliens & T2

my dvd collection is arre and mostly consists of aussie soap boxsets comedy boxsets like hi de hi only fools etc.

but out of the 100+ actual films i own the following are the ones i have watched the most

the fly
creepshow 2
the faculty
house 3
psycho 2
tales from the crypt

The Princess Bride - just love it.
The Graduate - first time I saw that at the cinema (yeah I am that old) I went in the afternoon and then stayed and watched it again in the evening.

Blimey..

Must admit I liked it when I first seen it (at Butlins believe it or not) as I went into watching it not having a clue what it would be about... " ..they say we're young but we don't know..." :)

I've probably watched 'The Craft' more than anything else and was made-up when the DVD came out with commentary as I think it's a great piece of film making.

(regular readers will know of my attraction to Neve too)

:D

Alien (20+ times)

then it'll be:-(in no particular order)
Aliens
Close Encounters
Hellraiser
The Thing (Carpenter's remake)
The Warriors
(all 10+ times each)

then:-
at least 5 times
Alien3
American Werewolf in London
Star Trek 'Generations'
Star Trek 'First Contact' (IMO the best ST movie by far)
Hellraiser 2 (Hellbound)
most of the 'Carry-On' movies
and several old 'Hammer' horrors.

I own very few DVRAB (less than 20), as I rarely watch most movies more than twice.
(I have DVRAB of most of the above, & Videotapes of a few old horrors & Carry-ons)

Gotta be Withnail & I

Seem to have also overdosed on Spinal Tap, Leon (check out the133min International Version), Betty Blue, Clerks, Down By Law and for some gawdawful reason Con Air.

Well films I can say I've seen well over 10+ times....
Porridge-The Movie
Groundhog Day
Dumb And Dumber
Withnail And I
The Big Lebowski
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Toy Story 2
Shrek
Midnight Run
Shawshank Redemption
Wedding Singer

recently (last few years) it has probably been *the dish*.

on occassions when people have been over for a w/e and we've watched a film from the dvd collection, folk always seem to go for *the dish* - its an absolute peach of a film that everyone seems to love, and can be watched several times just for all those great one liners and aussie humour.

Fr me, I usually watch a movie alot then grow out o it. Movie s that had this effect on me include:

The Terminaotr
Terminator 2
Star Wars episodes s 4,5,6 (mostly when I was young)
Dumb and Dumber (I still love this one)
Office Space (once you work in an office environment, you'll understand why)
Pulp Fiction (back in my college days)

Office space is by far the best comedy for anyone that has worked in an office enironment! There are aot of things inthe movie that mappen at work that just drive you nuts. How are those TPS reports coming along? One guy I work with actually has to do TPM reports for a project he's on ;)
