What are some cool/hot pieces/clothing that are trending right now?

I'm 14, and I want to spice up my wardrobe a little by looking more glam and chic than normal and bland. My style is girlie, but kind of rocker chick mixed with comfortable.

My school has NO dress code rules that are strict, so I can pretty much wear whatever.

Like what are some trends? Example :Flats, plaid, etc.

Natural and not *too* glam is in!
Things that are always in- skinny jeans, converse, flats, spaghetti tanks, baby doll T-Shirts, flip flops, cardigans, sandals- are always in!
Girly lace paired with more casual pieces is in right now. Also, edgy geometric shapes on simple pieces (tops) paired with neutral, simple pants. Shorts with long necklaces and simple tops look chic, but still casual for spring.
As for patterns, stripes are in right now, and so are polka dots. Don't overdo these, though!
And remember, stay fit and healthy if u wanna be that girl who looks good in anything- that makes u look waay more chic and glam. And only wear things that make u feel confident and cool with urself! ;;)
