What exercises should I start out with (very out of shape)?

I was sick in bed for several months. I've been better for over a month now, but I have no energy and I'm extremely out of shape from doing nothing for so long.

I used to be a runner, and I want to get back in shape, but i'm so unhealthy that I can only use my exercise bike for about 3 minutes at a time, and when I do, it takes so much out of me that I don't want to do it again.

What are some exercises that I could begin with that wouldn't be too much for me (keeping in mind that I was very ill for about 4 months and I have virtually no strength or endurance left)?

I'm starting to feel like i'll never be myself again.
