...shocks and springs necessary? This is the first time for me installing a lift, and I would like to do it right but I don't know what exactly is necessary for the lift to maintain a smooth ride. Are new shocks and springs necessary? And I hear add a leaf systems will result in a stiff ride. I'm looking for the proper way and what is required for a 2" lift.

The ride is surprisingly smooth. Most stock length shocks will work with up to a three inch lift.
