what exactly does CG art/rendered means?

is CG stands for computer graphics?

if i edit a picture or paint a drawing using photoshop can it be called CG ART/RENDERED??
what qualifies an art to be called cg rendered/art?
 
CG is mostly not computer graphics but(drum roll)
Computer Generated so:

Computer generated art, computer generated animation
or even CGI; Computer generated images
All done, or at least also done/finished on a computer.

So yeah, It is the same as...well oil painting or pencil sketch. It only refers to what major tool was used to make the picture. Any photo-shopping you do would qualify as CG
