I am attempting to finish my transfer application to University of Texas Austin and one of the questions asked is:
"Please indicate, for the most recent tax year, your family's gross income. Include both untaxed and taxed income: "
I am a legal independent so I am unsure as to whether I should simply put in my income or the income of my father (my parents are divorced and my mother's main source of income is spousal support). I am afraid that if I answer with my father's income it will affect the likelihood of a scholarship or financial aid as his annual income is roughly $500,000.
