Technically you just need fire. As long as you could kill a wild animal and make a rotisserie using two forked sticks and a skewer. The fire could be formed from natural resources such as using a rock a center pole, a bow made of vines and a stick, and a log. So really you could bring nothing to have adequate cooking although it would be harder.
