what engine will fit in a 92 mazda protege?

I wanna swap out my 1.8 liter DOHC engine 4cly. for another type, im basically looking for more power then what it has now. What engine would fit in there, somebody told me about a nissan sr2 or something like that would fit, with a mounting kits. Where would i find mounting kits for different engines? Where do i start?
 
any engine my friend you can do anything... but if you want perfromance you can put mazda rx7 engine from a 94 with twin turbo thatll be cool
