...High Output? Also, where to find? I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Edition. The Engine HAS to be replaced. Cannot be fixed according to the mechanics that diagnosed it. I have looked on Ebay motors and am going to call U-Pull It (junkyard) to see if they have engines. Are there other places I can look and can I put an engine that is different than the one that is currently in there: different year, make, etc? Thank you!!
 
What they mean is it's cheaper to replace it. It may have a bad crank, which can be replaced, it may have a bad piston sleeve, which may be replaceable at some shops, but it's cheaper to replace the engine.

You need to call auto wreckers. The 'chain' stores will have access to more engines, they are the ones to call, so you get your pick of engines. Most of the time you can go look at it before you buy it.
You can look on Craigslist for engines or even a wrecked jeep you can buy to pull the engine out of.
