I have a 1995 YJ wrangler and i get about 12 MPG on a 4cyl. I'm running a 4inch lift with 33's. I was thinking if maybe i change out the engine with something stronger like a V6 would i be seeing better mpg's? I dont want the usual V8 350 swap. I was reading and found that GMC could be swapped with the YJ's so i was thinking maybe in the lines of a Jimmy or blazer engine and since the axles wouldn't do change them out for maybe the ford Explorer axles (8.8). Does anyone have any ideas on what i could do as in means of better MPG? I read on Diesel Power Mag. they sawped a Cummings 3.5 L engine that got about 26 MPG but the sounds too complicated for me, i dont know much about Diesel engines. This is the website it's on.

better would be a v8 dat too a quarter less to 4 capacity . dats very rarely made , comes from d stable of rolls royce but dont worry abt price it aint dat costly , and the performance is mind blowing!!!!
