What did it effect did it have on the war for them to join it.
Is it that they helped to blockade the German ports which meant Germany became more desperate and so the spring offensive was brought forward?
I am trying to edit my coursework because i have been told to add more links between things that happened.
What other things happened because America joined the war?

And any information on the blockading of the German ports please!!
I have
food shortages

Very little effect overall, the allies had already effectively won. The Americans just sealed the deal.
