(The holiday period).

I thought some of the films on TV were poor or ones that I'd seen too many times. I watched Home Alone, Toy Story 2, The Lion King, Little Miss Sunshine, and The Departed.

Would've watched Bad Santa (ultimate Christmas film) but the last time I saw it was a few weeks ago.

Got most of the way through The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with the family. I've not seen such drivel for ages. It's surely one of the most pointless films to have been made recently. It compares very badly with the two other recent films that I can think of that paid tribute to the same era of fantasy writing/film-making - Van Helsing (which was by no means a great film at least treated its source material with some respect and was quite entertaining) and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (which IMO was a masterpiece and a wonderful tribute to all things modernist). 1/10

Journey to the Centre of the Earth (the version with James Mason & Pat Boone)

Titanic (version with Clifton Webb)

Fantastic 4

Christmas Morning:
Final Destination 3

Christmas Afternoon:
Mallrats

Christmas Evening:
No films just some Shield Episodes.

Island of Lost Souls (1932). Charles Laughton as the camp mad scientist making animals into people. Still creepy after all these years.
